A Free Book?
Finisher: the book will be one of the first of its kind in the mass publishing market.
It will not be bound by copyright, meaning it will be freely distributed online in PDF format through blogs, review sites, torrent sites and emails. Because it will be released to the public domain instantly, others can also print and sell their own versions.
An “official” print version will be in independent book stores and on Amazon.com in Spring 2010. The official version will be numbered and signed by author Brian Chicago. Readers who purchase the official version will also be given access to a private forum to discuss the book, inquire the author with questions, and have access to the sequels before anyone else does.
In order to finance preliminary copies of the book, we have a single Amazon.com advertisement in the sidebar. If you have plans to make a purchase there, visit this site first and click through our link. Your purchase offers us up to 8% commissions at no cost to you. This allows us to distribute free copies to random readers of this site, as well as prepare a marketing push to attract more readers. Clicking the ad doesn’t pay us unless you also make a purchase.
The book is currently in its third edit. As we modify the book, we will return to the subchapters posted here and make corrections.
Getting a Free Printed Copy
Over time, we will be giving away free printed copies, both during the editing stage and in the run-up to distribution. Free copies will be granted to random readers of the site, the number of free copies based on the site’s income from our Amazon.com referral income as well as pre-orders from independent book stores. What for future subchapter posts that may include instructions on how you can get a copy before almost anyone else.
